Pilatus PC-24 For Sale
The Pilatus PC-24 is a light business jet manufactured by Pilatus Aircraft in Stans, Switzerland. First delivered in 2018, it is the world's first business jet designed for operations from short and unprepared runways including grass, gravel, and dirt strips. This capability was inherited from Pilatus's experience with the PC-12 turboprop and the PC-6 Porter utility aircraft.
Powered by two Williams FJ44-4A engines, each producing 3,420 pounds of thrust, the PC-24 has a range of approximately 2,000 nautical miles with four passengers. The cabin measures 23 feet long, 5 feet 1 inch wide, and 5 feet 1 inch tall, with a large cargo door on the left side inherited from the PC-12 design philosophy. It seats up to 10 passengers and can be quickly converted between passenger, cargo, and medevac configurations.
Unique Capabilities
The PC-24's distinguishing feature is its ability to operate from runways as short as 2,690 feet, including unpaved surfaces. This gives it access to an estimated 21,000 airports worldwide, compared to approximately 7,000 for conventional business jets. The aircraft features the Honeywell Primus Apex avionics suite and an advanced autothrottle system. Its 1.30 cubic metre cargo door allows loading of standard LD3 containers, stretchers, or oversized luggage that would not fit in conventional jet baggage compartments.
