Challenger 300 For Sale
The Bombardier Challenger 300 is a super midsize business jet that entered service in 2004. Manufactured in Montreal, Canada, it was designed to fill the gap between the midsize Learjet 60 and the large cabin Challenger 604 in Bombardier's product line. Over 450 aircraft were delivered before production ended in 2014, when it was replaced by the Challenger 350.
Powered by two Honeywell HTF7000 engines, each producing 6,826 pounds of thrust, the Challenger 300 has a range of 3,100 nautical miles at long range cruise. It carries up to nine passengers in a flat floor cabin measuring 25 feet 2 inches long, 7 feet 2 inches wide, and 6 feet tall. The cabin offers a stand up centre aisle and is one of the widest in the super midsize class.
Performance and Systems
The Challenger 300 cruises at Mach 0.80 with a maximum speed of Mach 0.82. Its balanced field takeoff distance is approximately 4,810 feet at maximum takeoff weight of 38,850 pounds. The aircraft is equipped with the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite with four large format LCD displays. It can operate from shorter runways than many competitors in its class, making it suitable for airports with limited infrastructure across Europe and the Americas.
