Falcon 2000 For Sale
The Dassault Falcon 2000 is a wide body, long range business jet manufactured by Dassault Aviation in Bordeaux, France. First delivered in 1995, it was derived from the Falcon 900 trijet but designed with two engines for lower operating costs while retaining the wide cabin cross section. The type has been produced in several variants including the 2000EX, 2000DX, 2000LX, 2000LXS, and 2000S.
The original Falcon 2000 is powered by two CFE738 engines, each producing 5,918 pounds of thrust, giving a range of 3,000 nautical miles. The later 2000EX and 2000LXS variants use Pratt and Whitney Canada PW308C engines with improved range of up to 4,000 nautical miles. The cabin measures 23 feet 5 inches long, 7 feet 8 inches wide, and 6 feet 2 inches tall, typically seating 8 to 12 passengers.
Variants and Market Position
The Falcon 2000 series competes primarily with the Cessna Citation Sovereign and Gulfstream G280. Its distinguishing features include the wide Falcon cabin inherited from the 900 series, Dassault's reputation for build quality, and competitive direct operating costs. The 2000LXS, the final production variant, features winglets, increased range, and the EASy II flight deck. Total production across all variants exceeds 600 aircraft.
